Lefties and liberals using ya'll came as a result of Obama trying to sound more "down to earth and friendly" and be more relatable to working and middle class Americans during his presidency. He would lay it on thick and even change his accent when he was in the South giving speeches or doing rallies. The mainstream media and journalists being minted at the time caught on to this and examined the fuck out him doing it like the groveling pieces of shit they were and stopped just short of sucking his dick. This eventually became part of their lexicon and the worst journalists to have come out of this current generation then passed it on to normies and other people who listen to what they have to say.
