Remember that the Green New Deal was proposed to the US congress in 2019, and the UK said in that same year that it wants to completely phase out gas powered vehicles by the year 2030. Remember also that one of Joe Biden's first actions as president was to shut down construction of the Keystone pipeline, and there is a moratorium on new drilling and the construction of new supporting infrastructure.
