Give me a hell yeah.
I only understand history through video games
I have unironically learned a lot from playing HOI4 for 4000 hours of my life, and the 400 or so on Vic2 and currently CK2, but byzantines are the only ones in CK2 that are actually fun to play.
No wonder Any Forums is filled with so many stupid niggers
that is probably the only major strategy game I haven't gotten into. the panzer corps (original) was kick ass.
I like educational games. I learned about the battle of 1066 from an old flash game I used to obsess over as a kid. What's the one in your picrel called?
try brittany or wales they are entertaining to.
crusader kings 2. thread will usually get nuked quickly whenever i bring it up. even tho it's 100% political.
I played normandy in 1066 as well, it was alright until william the conqueror died
>for 4000 hours of my life
I'd kill myself if I ever gamed that much.
I am not saying that to antagonize you, I just genuinely don't think I would be able to handle the regret.
I've had it for many years, for many years it was my favourite pastime.
how do I turn the pope gay
You too poor to afford CK3?
How old are you?
in my 26
*26
yes. full on neet and old. deal with it. i have. also ck2 probably reached near perfection except for the small text.
>56%
Start lifting and talking to normies more. For your own sake.
CK2 is still a better game than CK3 in 90% of things. CK2 was the real game, it will never be surpassed by CK3 just by the aspect of nostalgia itself. I have more than 2000 hours in CK3 and I still go back to CK2 just because the game was too good, it was definitely ahead of its time.
i think that is just a historical event that naturally happens.
Post your phd
I understand history by reading 900 pages of The Anatomy of Melancholy by Haruhi Suzumiya
Haven't touch CK3 since the first few weeks it came out, when there's more content and mods I'll start playing it again
kek. to each his own.
Just because I am a neet doesn't mean I waste my time.
lol grow up
You're doing good trust me, not missing anything. Give the game 2 or 3 years, depending on how long Jewdox takes to make DLCs that modders can make in 2 weeks. There's even a mod for the college of cardinals and Catholicism already that mimics CK2. Jewdox will copy paste the code and charge 30 bucks for it.
Yea, Ill second that. Still waiting for republics. I am just playing coomer mods until then lol.
Heh I tried Carnalitas but I never bothered to download the one with scenes and animations, is it even worth it.
That Game of Thrones mod out yet? Loved it on CK2
Based
I remember looking up every leader in Civ V and learnt a shit load.
And they say Vidya makes the kids more dumb and violent.
If you can even get it to work with the other stack of mods, sure lol. Though its not fun when there's a big update or the launcher shits on the file paths. Its either re-download/update or worse manually modifying mod files, every god damn one of them....
Lift and read lift and read
You havent even started kid
Based if true
Computer games don't necessarily teach you much (although I have a good knowledge of European geography due to playing HoI so much). But they can spark an interest leading you to learn about a subject properly.
No, that one will take a while.
Touching little boys is already pretty gay user
literally my gateway to history
except starting with the original from 1991. part two was fucking badass (also customizable)
What game is this?
good take but I think you would be surprised how much you pick up playing a historical strategy game. worked with a Romanian guy once and blew his mind when I mentioned Dacia - never mentioned where I learned that from.
