The way the whole mass media indoctrination/propaganda works is that they can only really focus on ONE thing at a time. It's why everything else is required to completely disappear from the news cycle as soon as something deemed more important comes into play. Same with how during the "height of le pandemic!!!" the news became 24/7 nonstop coverage of I CAIN'T BREEVE and nigger riots for weeks and hysteria over the common cold only returned after that had subsided.
Don't worry though, they'll wheel the corona hoax back out in the fall. Assuming we're not playing New Vegas IRL by then.
