I haven't truly enjoyed a game, or anything else in life, since I was little. I wish I could enjoy anything the way that I did N64 and PS1 games back then. Is feeling immersed in games or movies a meme? I struggle to remember what it might feel like.

Far Cry 5, parts of no man’s sky, and Sea of Thieves, have been my recent favorites, and I like a lot of Halo Infinite, but the overwhelming majority of my game time is just replaying my favorites from the past. My most played steam games are like Mass Effect Legendary edition, Halo MCC, Civ 6, Star Wars TOR & KOTOR, Republic Commando, and a few others. All my old favorite multiplayer series have been shit the last few years. Battlefield V was such a let down from BF1, Vanguard and Black Ops Cold War was a huge let down from Modern Warfare 2019, Halo infinite is good fundamentals but has no content. I’m pretty blackpilled about gaming as of present.

It's one of the best AAA games released in like 5 years of shit. It's not saying much, because it's a pretty mediocre Dark Souls game.
I mostly play old games now, since most new games are just polished turds.
