Hmmmm maybe. Clothing is cheaper but good quality stuff is hard to find and pricey. I sew and materials are pricey too. Decent Harris wool tween runs 38 quid a metre and you need five metres for a short jacket. Try finding womens clothing that’s predominantly natural fibres in the high street - everything is polyester, or viscose (which is not natural however it’s marketed.) when I was in my twenties my jeans lasted years, now they wear thoigh at the ankles and knees and seams on a few months. Yeah it’s cheap but most of it is shit.
