Cults are a big problem in Asia because collectivist mindsets are already natural to them and there's a lot of social instability to due the looming threats of both Chinese and American secularism. Not gonna happen. They have reached the same civilizational bottleneck that all developed countries experience - As the standard of living increases, it becomes more costly to live. That forces women to seek employment outside of the home rather than to raise children. Men and women are then forced to compete rather than cooperate, and the influx of workers drives down wages. This results in declining birth rates that force governments to import labor to pay for entitlements for the current generation of citizens.
