And the thing that libertarians talk about when they say "it's not real capitalism" is something called "Laissez faire capitalism". It's like a specific type of capitalism. But they're just entirely making up the definition of "capitalism" out of nowhere.
"Laissez Faire capitalism" the thing libertarians want basically means a government that works for rich people to evict poors, but never puts any restriction on the rich people. It takes all of it's value from poors and takes nothing from the rich. The rich can pollute the lakes, mass murder by stuffing poisons in their products, anything. Nothing rich people do can be illegal and all of the laws apply to poor people (in particular the eviction laws)

Well not really but maybe in the most vague sense I can understand that charge. That's a bit more justified then the retarded lolbert right-wingers or nazis who try to claim "The USA is communist!" or "socialist!" right now when we're the farthest right ultra imperialistic capitalist dystopia that's ever existed on the face of the Earth. But back in the 50s and 60s, when things were good, we certainly could have been considered "socialism lite". 90% tax rates on the wealthiest and all.

I think the average payer in the top bracket in those days paid 60 something percent. When it got cut to 70% on paper, average paid was around 45%. There's deductions, and capital gains tax was 25% max in those days.

No that's just false. The tax records are all available on the IRS website. I've posted them many times here before. The average filer paid between 60 and 80% depending on the year and how they filed. + The top marginal tax rate right now is only 37% and that's before deductions.
