It's what 15 years newer than the NLAW and >25 years newer than the Jav. Maybe just maybe they used cheaper newer versions of the stuff we developed and gave to them to make our cheap shit with. I would like to see failure rate in combat and a bunch of other data before I decide if it's any better or not.
Missiles and smart munitions are honestly one of the real places they could bridge the gap with us technically assuming massive industrial espionage to get the means to make it. God knows they don't come up with any good ideas themselves.
