realistically if inflation continues to get worse, the saudis agree to take chinas money for oil, and the US collapses, what happens then? Will there be anarchy without any rule of law? Should I start planning an exit strategy? Realistically what do you do in that situation?

the US enjoys a massive wealth advantage by having its fiat currency used as the world reserve and trade settlement currency. in simple terms, US deficit spending creates inflation which acts as a wealth tax on the entire world--when the US experiences 10% YoY inflation, the whole world takes a 10% cut on the purchasing power of all their accumulated wealth. this is why the Saudis and India will willingly transact in Yuan--a much more stable currency which is not being inflated away by bad government.

what will happen? the US will become a much less wealthy country, mostly in the form of falling purchasing power, expensive energy and travel, expensive imports. US social spending is indexed to inflation also so expect economic depression to lead directly to even more spending at absurd levels (the US has an aged workforce overdue for retirement--in the next economic downturn many retirements and retirement account redemptions will occur and these jobs wont be replaced).
