The United States does this in every single case when a country democratically elects a socialist leader. Our CIA goes in, destabalizes the country, overthrows the democratically elected leader, spreads unsubstantiated claims that the election was fake and then calls it "democracy". We've done it over and over and over and over in dozens of places since the end of WW2 and that's just what's publicly known. We're obviously still doing it in the current day too in places like Venezuela but not enough time has gone by for our dirty doings there to be declassified.

Macedonia was suppose to be ours because we're the same people (according to bulgarians). But after the First Balkan war the Great Powers intervened and took gains from Servia and gave them Macedonia. Our King was high on his farts and decided war for Macedonia against all our former allies against the Turk, thus the Sevond Balkan war started. We lost, but Russia intervened so we didn't lose much. We then joined two world wars on the side of the Germans to get Macedonia back. But now many years later Macedonians have developed a shizo identity and associating with them is a waste of time. We also had language reforms which makes them sound like peasants from the 20th century to us. Also Macedonians hate us because apparently our wars of unification are "tatar imperialism" since according to them we're asiatic while they're ancient makedonian kangs.
