Beans are 1.29 in my area now. Up 30 cents from their normal price at 99 cents. A 30 percent increase over night.
People that voted for Biden should be strung up in the streets.

Beans and deens ygmi

50 cents per means you can get 40 cans of beans for 20 bucks. 40 cans of beans can go a long way, even if you are ambivalent.
I happen to eat beans at least 5 times a week, so it's a good deal.
I should have bought more

If you have Amazon, a fun game to play is, “How much did I pay last year?”
>it’s only 7% inflation, guys!
Anybody who actually buys things has noticed it is much, MUCH higher. Items around $1 are now $1.50. Many items that were, say, $2.50, are now $3.25. Items that were $5 are now $7+. Some pencil neck will come along and say, “Oh boohoo it costs $1 more poor baby” but they have never seen that “little bit” on each item add up to a $50 higher grocery bill, and that’s if everything is in stock.

It was a designer sourdough, a little luxury for me

I do have the social decorum not to crack open a can in the movie theater

Canned. I looked at dry, and they were twice as expensive, probably cause they were imports. Not against buying dry, but they need to be significantly cheaper to justify the extra time spent cooking
