I feel bad for them. I think fighting for your homeland is based. I just think they’ve been made pawns in a game and are expendable as such, and that’s the real tragedy of it at the end of the day. I hope they surrender soon so that the suffering of the civilians ends, it seems like it’s going from bad to worse for them.

I agree, this also is my take on it. At first I was fully supporting Russia but now that the smoke has cleared a little, I don’t really know what to think. It is a social media war, at least as we in the west see it. The people on the ground in Ukraine aren’t wholesome chungus avengers fighting for gay rights like Reddit and twitter would have you think, they are civilians trying to survive and nationalists trying to remain sovereign as a nation, and are willing to take any help they can get right now. As Poltards we are by default contrarian to western narratives, but that’s not really the greatest way to approach everything. It’s an all around shitty situation, and it could go on for a long time.
