Changing your motor oil is a scam. Stop changing your OIL

See this? You do not need to do it. Its completely unnessary

Why do (((they))) make us do this, for profit obvouisly? The dirty oil is still slippery.....so as long as its slippery it still lubricates

I bought my car in 2020 and haven't changed the oil once and my car is fine!

Fucking retard

Umm don't listen to op, 6month 5,000 miles.

Just keep going user, fuck the haters!

You're fucking retarded and don't know your asshole from your elbow when it comes to an engine or the concept of viscosity.

not my problem

Easiest shit to verify lol. Everyone please change your fucking oil

>I bought my car in 2020 and haven't changed the oil once and my car is fine!

he bought a tesla

Same with disposable contacts. Reuse them for 3-5x the listed duration and reuse the contact solution to save on money.

Hell, you can get about 3 good wipes per square of toilet paper if you really try.

Changing your oil is one of the few things that society tells you to do that isn't a scam. Oil gets fucking nasty and fouls other parts of your engine.

Hey you seem really intelligent and manly. Can I get your Instagram lol?

engineer here.
why do you sheep fall for the motor oil scam?

nice bait retard. i had a 93 honda hatcback and when i changed the oil the way the engine sounded was night and day. shut the FUCK up

What's the frickin point of the gravel??

I thought you're supposed to dump it in the ocean.

Dumb nigger

no, user, that's car batteries you dump in the ocean. don't be daft.

The only scam is changing the oil every 3,000 miles, if you drive a run of the mill econobox and use good synthetic oil its good for 10,000 miles or one year, only those with high performance engines, specially turbo or supercharged should worry about 3-5,000 mile oil changes

i think to direct it away from the surface so you don't track it all over the yard.

>not putting your car battery in a tote of oil and then throwing it in the ocean
ngmi

I don't see a difference.

>10,000 miles
I've pushed it to 30.

This might have been less harmful in 1963 but oils nowadays are full of additives and other nasties so I wouldn't advise doing this, keep a tank on property then take it to get recycled or just fill a milk jug with the oil and throw it away with regular trash kek

well, uh, you don't pour it down the storm sewer. it's actually okay to pour flush it down the toilet tho.

Lmao

A better thread would have reminded anobs to change their own oil, filters, belt, and wipers and stop paying the Firestone jew to do it.

>or just fill a milk jug with the oil and throw it away with regular trash kek

Retard

>2020
sensible chuckle

one simple trick that drives gas station owners crazy - fill your tank half with water before you put in gas, double your milage!

Use your spent motor oil to coat and rust-proof shovels, tools, metal wheelbarrows, etc. You can also apply it to non-aesthetic wood surfaces subjected to the elements such as stockade fences, dunnage material, etc.

How that eventually effects the local water table is anyone’s guess.

>30k
Why would you take that risk?

Wrong. But piston engines are a scam. Big motor oil shut down the turbine engine because it was too efficient and had too few moving parts.

I use 8 tp squares per wipe. I don’t want my fingernails covered in poop.

Electric vehicle lobbyist hands typed this post

Used motor oil makes great fuel for an oil burning furnace. And by furnace I mean something you use to melt metals.

I remember I use to drive an old 90s toyota back in the day and it would burn a little oil so I would just top it off with whatever oil I had laying around, like the little bit people have left over when doing oil changes, I would drive it with 4-5 different types of oils mixed together lol, it never blew up and I drove it hard until the trans gave out and eventually ended in the junkyard, it was starting to rust bad too

You need to change your oil just not as frequently as you're told to.

My dad works at Nintendo
Half life 3 confirmed

what are you talking about?? im a nasa scientist and they dont want you to know you can go 40,000 miles on one oil change!

>You want $900 to change a fuel pump?
>I'll just do it myself
>Saved $810

>he doesn't use his spent oil as fuel
You DO have diesel, right?

>the local water table

Because it was a 2001 malibu, and after 10k I thought I should change it, after 15k, I was beginning to become curious, after 25k it became a full fledged experiment, and at 30k I forgot to top off the radiator and seized the motor.

Drainage, same as in pots for some potted plants.

The motor will seize on the highway moron. Learn mechanics you stupid twink

Because engines can burn oil and if you have no oil your engine can be btfo
Learned the hard way
