Fuck the war, let's discuss things actually relevant to us.
There are 5 fewer Doritos per bag now thanks to inflation

>people literally eat garbage

Tell us oh wise chud. What do you eat?

So the bags just empty

Thanks for the laugh. Much needed around these parts
Why not sell them individually wrapped?
If there's not enough air inside the chips will be crushed by the time you pick them up on the market shelf.
Welcome to Shrinkflation.
Don’t care, not fair.
>high sodium corn syrup loaded meme beans, instead of high sodium corn syrup loaded corn chips.
Wew lad.
jewish lies.
they were never that way beforehand.

Based dihydrogen monoxide enjoyer.
Must be lies. I never saw this shit my whole life until maybe ~2017 maybe earlier
Shrinkflation is starting to interfere with my recipes. Everything is getting smaller but my recipes are for standardized amounts – 1 pound of pasta, or 1 pound of bacon. Now boxes of pasta are 12 or 14 ounces, a ‘pound’ of bacon is usually a 12 ounce package. It’s time consuming and frustrating. I can’t really just buy two of the downsized product because then I’ll have too much.
some men cope with drugs and alcohol, but for me it's tasty junk food and soda
Dude, they went from $3.00-$3.50 for 11-and-something ounces to only 9.25 ounces for $4.00, almost overnight. That's almost 40% less per dollar, almost half a bag. That's a hell of a lot more than 5 chips.
but chip bags used to be filled to the near top so the whole "we need that airspace for capacity storage" thing doesn't make sense
I eat hearty soup as 80% of my diet. Flamin Hot™ Doritos© are my only comfort and I'm poor. Are they really going to fuck my ass with no Vaseline® ? ? ? FUCKING BASTARDS ! ! !

I worked as a route rep a few years back. Prices of single serve bags increased 10% YOY as far back as 2016. They were like 50% more expensive in my brief tenure and that's before the fake virus. Also it's funny because the chips are the least expensive part, packaging costs way more and paying nigger celebrities to appear in commericals costs way more than commodity corn.
i saw soda last week for like $7 for a single 12 pack, OR $10 for 3 12 packs
idk how that even makes sense i'm guessing it was expired or something (does soda expire?)
Fighting climate change innit. Less doritos in bags means more bags on a truck.
Obese mutts in complete shambles
Damn! It hasn't gotten that expensive in DC yet, the most expensive area in the country, but holy fuck is it getting there my dude.
How much soda do you drink that this is an issue?
sun chips master race
i'm also in the midwest so it was surprising, but i'm not sure what the cost was beforehand. just the multiple pack price really threw me for a second.
>eating lays in 2022
Seems affordable. If you drink it like I do my coffee, once or twice a day.. not an ultra expensive habit. At 6 bucks a week
What the fuck are you talking about? Soda is just a snack food, you idiot. Stop pretending people drink this in place of water to pretend you're some bong foreigner you fucking enormous faggot.
Yeah it does expire, never checked how long it lasts though. They were definitely blowing out old soda before getting a newer shipment at the higher prices.
Wait, Washington DC is in the midwest? wut

pricing is fucked. used to be if you bought a larger size you got a better deal but that's not always the case now. check the per-unit prices.
also they want to move quantity over income...something like that. that's why 3 for 10 and one for 7
Easy there buddy. Just wondering how 6 bucks is a lot of money to you, you poor ugly bastard.
You're the same kind of faggot who says to people that they shouldn't care about 70 cent rises in gas prices, because it's not that much to you. Maybe instead of taking your Folgers and shoving it up your ass, shove some knowledge up it instead.
i'm not a soda drinker but i do enjoy red bull sometimes, and that's something i've always noticed with it. whether you buy a single can or a 12 pack it's all priced about the same way with no deal break, maybe a few cents per ounce if anything.
As opposed shitty doritos which are basically oxidized oily carbs with added sodium and flavouring agents and 0 protein.
They sell past a certain number and the supplier makes up the difference. It's common in grocery stores for products used as a loss leader in sales to get people in the door to shop.
as if the fucking bags werent air already, shits about to get ugly within this subject
Came to post something like this.
Post your favorite chips
Just got a 1 liter of Canada Dry for 1$ Bought 10.
what gets me most is the product itself is the least expensive part of the product. The packaging, printing, advertising, shipping, production, management are all more costly. Do you think some desiccated potato dust pressed into chip shapes is the costly part?
>didn't get a liter of cola
NGMI
how are you paying $6 a week for coffee?
Just eat less food bigot! You want to help Ukraine don't you?
i drink one 20oz travel mug a day and spend maybe $15 on beans every few weeks
she doesn't want to do the math
Name brand chips are $6 in a big bag. Insanity.
Quick head math, Walmart is listing Folders 24.8 ounce for $9. 1 tablespoon is required to make one cup of coffee, that's about 0.5 ounces. That would make about 50 cups of coffee.
