I am considering joining a masonic lodge, but am looking for advice. Anyone have any useful info as to why or why not to join? I love esoteric knowledge and history and curiosity is getting the better of me. Any info is appreciated.

Seems like kind of a bad time to join.
>I want to be a useful idiot shabbos goy for a jewish lodge Master, any tips redditerinos?
Google St. Johns masonry
This
They don’t know shit about esoterica, they're just larping lucifirian kikes
You have to be well seen in your society, and you have to have some money (not because you pay admittance fees or anything) but you can't be a poorfag
You have to always be polite and always know what you want from your life and be at peace with yourself
Just google lodges around you.
Maybe one of them will accept you, but don't expect anything interresting from the 1st day, year, decade
If you come from a mason family, it's a lot easier to integrate
you're retarded and anti-america if you join that shit..l fucking loser
masons are overrated as fuck - if you're looking for someone who can hook you up with a good contractor or a reliable dentist or get you a discounted membership at a country club, it's fine, but if you're expecting muh shadow government shit you're going to be *supremely* disappointed
Anyone who tries to convince you to join is a fake or doesn't take their obligation seriously. You don't seek to become a Mason, you seek to become a better man and if your journey leads you to Masonry you will find it.
Larp.
don't, faggot
what are you, retarded? at the most innocuous masons are just guys fucking and sucking each other
at the most sinister masons are guys fucking and sucking each other, fucking and sucking children, and operating in the shadows to undermine and control society
only soulless faggot niggers are masons and they should all be put down
user if you join the masons, what you need to understand is you will be given a book.
The book will contain problems that you need to figure out on your own.
You will only rise in ranks of you take many oaths declaring how you will be butchered and or mutilated should you share the secrets.
You don't learn the true intentions until you hit 33°
My great grandfather was 32°
This is the most diluted truth you will see ITT
T.user who had masonic lineage but told nothing
dilate you double negative faggot
They don't know anything esoteric, hate to break it to you.
My local chapter's application said something to the effect of "you have to believe in a Christian God" and "something something Jesus Christ".
Well, I believe that we are all Jesus Christ, and so I did not continue filling out the application as I'm not a Christian in the contemporary sense.
Too heretical for heresy. Highly blasphemous and damnedpilled.
Ok so are there any actual "mystery schools" that are accessible?
there is corruption at the top, just like in every organization that handles money and presents power, but the local men work hard to serve their communities and raise money for charity.
They just don't know that a lot of money they raise goes into corrupted pockets. But they still do good, and, and funny enough....there are some shakeups going on that are shaking some bad apples out of the top of the tree.
If you're a good man you'll do well and make friends and brothers.
Why do you want to join a "mystery school"?
You will be in the lodge for 10 plus years and need to be very committed before you'll find out anything remotely interesting.
stop being a jew
There are broad differences between different Lodges. Your area will most likely have multiple, so take time to meet members of each to a) see if you get on with the members, and b) see if the Lodge is orientated toward philosophical teaching & discussion. Not all Lodges are. Some are just social clubs with morality plays (though there is not necessarily anything wrong with this, it will disappoint you).
Should you find one that suits you, you will get out of Masonry what you put in. It offers different things for different types of people, but there's enough within the Masonic tapestry of ideas for someone like yourself to find enjoyment in studying.
Good luck should you choose to join. Only ever listen to half of what you hear.
Reasonable enough reason to join, but it's a "your mileage may vary" kind of thing. The lodges in your area might have no interest in it, or they might be fully geared for it.
That's just another name for a Craft Lodge.
WE'RE NOT ALL MASONS
