I'm from Siberia, we have 45000 average salary here, as IT manager + programmer I have 200000-250000 rubles (depending on exchange rate and amount of work) so in some subsidized regions it's maybe lower, but anyway it's does not cover shady income, which does not go into statistic.

The salary is symbolic, the volunteers are paid by people sending them there not Ukraine.
The training is irrelevant since 99% of volunteers are already veterans or private contractors and mercenaries. Many of them are likely Green Berets or similar, sent to Ukraine not to fight the Russians but to instruct Ukrainians and foment/set up future resistance/insurgency (depending on how you look at it).
The whole muh Reddit brigades is a mixture of nolifer Redditor larping, Any Forums trolling and Russian propaganda.
