This was the ship that got caught in ice and sank during Ernest Shakelton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, which made 28 men stranded in Antarctica for 2 years, where they all survived the ordeal (all while they were all unaware of World War 1 happening).
The story of shackleton's expedition is epic (despite failing the mission, the survival story is incredible), and actually all the antarctic expeditions are great stories.

Today's pussified "men" won't be able to survive 2 hours there.
That includes all of you, Any Forums.

I shall now watch this.

Shekelton made 28 goys starve for two years, easy.

I watched the documentary before, it was indeed an epic feat of human will and might But I got insanely saddened that many of those men later on died in a pointless war, we truly love in a prison planet Fuggin gold
They don't know what happened to them. They seemed to have been sighted by the eskimos. Then nothing.

I like this documentary very much, have watched it several times during the past years. The story of the Shackleton Expedition wouldn't make it into cinemas these days, because it would seem too far fetched to be believable:
I am majoring in Computer Science. If for whatever reason I start a small film studio that focuses on CGI animation, I would focus on making realistic historical dramas, with this event being the first one (that is if I don't break into the gaming industry instead).
