How to fix American gas prices

It's very simple. Just stop sanctioning Russia and resume trade relations. Bam, problem solved, right there.

Russia doesn't provide more than 5% of fuel in USA. Price rise is designed to get you out of private transport permanently.

They're blaming Russia for the inflation they've been suppressing for years.

Yes, but that removes their "excuse"

FPBP

Instead of crying about muh had prices why don't recognize how privileged you are to be able to buy gasoline instead of worrying about bombs dropping on your house by fascist invaders. Most of the world has been paying these rates for years and they aren't crying about it

>muh had prices
muh gas prices*

That's not how it works. While America doesn't directly buy much oil from Russia, a ton of other nations do, and they're one of the most important oil exporters on Earth. If America sanctions Russia and prevents all its "allies" (ie, puppets) from buying Russian oil, all those nations are forced to buy oil from elsewhere. That effectively means sharply cutting off the global supply, resulting in the rest of the world competing harder for non-Russian oil, which makes the price on non-Russian oil go up.

Think of it this way. Germany buys all their oil from Russia. Germany is then no longer allowed to buy oil from Russia. Germany now has to buy oil from America. American oil prices go up

or reverse all of retard biden's anti energy policies that he enacted day 1 of his stolen presidency

Why do Americans pretend to care so much about gas prices for? Don't most Americans just whip out a credit card they are never going to pay on and get gas anyway?
It's too late to fix it. You assholes wanted to play these cute little games like lets pretend there is some deadly virus killing everyone, total make believe shit has consequences.
Really gas prices aren't that bad if wiggers are still driving around aimlessly

I HATE THE ANTICHRIST

Or maby reopen domestic production fucking retards

This is stupid. Keep pushing to decentralize commerce. Keep Russia out until it happens.

Oil prices can be fixed in under a week if the US resumes oil production expansion. We won't because the "cabon cost" is too high.

Checked.

>tank of gas used to be about 50 bucks, now its over 60
>this is somehow supposed to threaten my way of life

Or we just undo the OPEC cuts from 2020...

They’re not even bad yet. Look at oil prices vs previous peak oil price adjusted for inflation. We’re just getting started.

Want to see the darker truth? Look at oil price vs risk assets. Relative to stock market oil is cheap as anything. We have literally seen nothing yet. And Russia isn’t the problem.. commodities supercycles follow periods of quiet inflation throughout history, and there has NEVER been money printing like this. It will get much much worse. They will blame Russia or war or trade backups or whatever, but the problem is structural, not geopolitical. Look up Pierre Andurand. He is the greatest living oil trader and saw this coming more than a year ago. He will mint a billion through what is coming.

Big Brains

Gas was 2.26 when biden took office. I have seen it as high as 4.65 for regular in Michigan, and higher elsewhere. It's a damn sight higher than it should be, as is everything else to the idiots in control.

IMPORTED fuel. Russian fuel is below 1% in the US when you include US produced fuel too.

The only way to stop inflation is to slow down the rate at which new money is printed. And this is done by downsizing the federal government

Retard, oil is a global market

wow that's pure genius, do you really think it will work?

Get out of here, cyka. These prices are artificially inflated by globohomo and have nothing to do with Russia.

Are you sure it is not 'Germany does not want to buy Russian oil' instead of 'not allowed'?

How about we get them out of private existing permanently

Don't be naive. Germany and other western "allies" have to kowtow to whatever sanctions America tells them to.
