Probably slaves

Now everyone expects to be paid for their work and watches tv in their free time

People actually think the west is the land of the free?

Look at this incredible work. No where in Canada you will find this.

You do realize that white people in Canada is only like 150 years old right? Only natives were here before then, and they were Hunter gatherers that didn’t stay in one spot. Compare that to 2000 year old cities in Europe.

And looks like Quora says it was built by slaves

If that were built in the modern era they would have to pay you tons of money and it's not going to make back that money

Why are the most worthless cultures always the proudest? And the cultures that actually contribute to the world and create liveable countries the least proud?

arrogance and a mix of ignorance.

One of the 7 world wonders, as always destroyed by an (((earthquake)))

my body is my temple, so says the bible.

The absolute rulers of India at that time did pretty much enslave their own people to build these temples. And they built these temples to offset their own sins to stave off karma. Indian people would work themselves to death carving and stacking up granite blocks to make these temples because the Maharishi, or whoever the fuck was running things at the time, didn't want to be reincarnated as a worm.

You can look at these ancient wonders and think of them with pride as national treasures like the Egyptians do woth the pyramids, which were also built by a selfish ruler to ensure their own afterlife, but they don't make the current generation any greater than any other current day generation without such a "glorious past".

Come to canada

Wasnt the statue of zeus just pillaged in order to make gold for churches and whatnot? Quite a few of the wonders of the ancient world were pillaged by latter civilizations. The library of alexandria building was destroyed by the mamluks. The parthenon was transformed into an artillary depot by the ottomans and bombarded by venetian warships. The mausoleum of halicarnassus was pillaged and turned into a castle by the crusaders. The colossus of rhodes fell due to an earthquake, but the statue itself was pillaged by arabs.

Built by Tuatha De Danann. Not built by the pajeets of modern day India
