There is much discussion of the weak Russian ragtag army. Personally, I don't think we have seen the Russian army yet, it's easy to believe the "failures" are due to broken down equipment and no training, but I was in Russia during 2013 and 2014 during the Crimea runup, I have worked with Russians doing checkouts of pipeline control systems, things seemed pretty tippy top, Russia has purchased or stolen and developed a lot of US tech and it seems to me more like Russia moved in using the B and C teams with clear strategic objectives intending minimal casualties, if Zelensky folded, great, if not so be it. Russia has advanced it's lines. The Crimea and the Donbass are secure, water is flowing again and now the elitist zeitgeist is on notice. Russia seems to be following SunTsu “Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.”
