Ohio is not homogeneous, sure there is plenty of flat basedbean and cornfields, but there is also wetlands, oak savannah, and some unique features up near Lake Erie. Southeast Ohio is wooded and beautiful, basically the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. We get four seasons and the autumn foliage is great with all of the maples, aspens, hickories. Just stay out of the big cities. Cincinnati could be great, there is still a lot of the 1800s architecture intact, but it has a major negro problem. Columbus is a perfect capsule of globohomo, its like if a HR department became a city, absolutely no soul. Cleveland is more of the same but at least has more of a rust belt working class history.
