Take for instance McDonalds. If the business withdraws from Russia they can’t take the fucking building with them along with the crew, since they’re all Russians who’ve been trained by McDonald’s anyway. The building is still the same, the staff is the same, the cooks are the same.

The recipes are thus kept secret and under controlled conditions. You can't just expect someone to make mcdoland fries if they have potatoes and rape seed oil. Without a mcdoland supply chain it won't be the same food.
