This. Russia gave BUK system to Donbas seperatists, they fucked up big time. There are pictures of some seperatists posing in the wreckage, even a picture where you can see the Malaysia logo of the jet.

I have a theory on this, based on much of the information I have read and also based on the reactions of all parties, since after all this time there is nothing but circumstantial evidence and everyone seems to be hiding something:
.- US reconnaissance plane over Ukraine.
.- US flight is detected.
.- Shot is fired by Russian goons separatists.
.- US flight shelters behind civilian MH17
.- MH17 takes the shot.
This would explain how all parties all really to blame... and why there has actually been no real consequences to the crash.
