ANTI-WINDIES BTFO, WILL NEVER RECOVER

USA natural gas doubled, Europe price stratospheric

Coal up 400%

Petroleum at the current level

The wind is still free, the sunshine is also still free. Will anti-windies ever recover? Even Abraham Lincoln liked wind power.

You could do better with mini hydroelectric and pump storage. I'm all for renewable energy or whatever the fuck, but honestly we should've been on nuclear as our main for the last 50 years.

Still will never be as good as nuclear.

the final red pill is realizing the amount of electricity any individual needs is

>what is solar potential?
>why have windmills in germany failed?
you're a moron

I like birds tho.

Wind turbines are 20 years away from being advanced enough to be viable.
Solar is closer, but still lacks viability, See where we're at in 8-10 years.
Nuclear is the correct solution at the moment - but all the 'muh chernobyl' fear mongering propaanda by big oil scared people off it long enough that it won't be the solution much longer.

Wind does not produce baseline power, it is not a real form of energy. It's window dressing. The most expensive window dressing, along with solar, in the history of mankind.

nuclear is the best by far, no intermittence and no storage requirements also if you just use a non-retarded fuel design almost no waste...

I'd argue that big oil are far less of an issue for anti-nuclear technology propaganda these days than climate alarmists.

lol? clmiate alarmists are big oil you retard

any GREEN movement in the last 80 years is owned by them

Climate alarmists are big oil.
The only way those "alternative" energy sources work is if they're tied with oil/gas/carbon to keep the production of energy in line with the demand.

Yes, you are correct.
Big oil most certainly capitalized when nuclear power was in its relative infancy, but after they got their hooks in and supply chains secured they didn't need to do much more.

Climate freaks are just the opposite side of the same coin, they're both trying to sell you a product.

That's some tinfoil shit right there. Big oil favours personal independence (i.e. owning a car) and profit. Climate alarmists want global governance that enforces compliance. In particular, they want to reduce living standards so that people are more likely to accept Marxian government.

This. Nuclear works at night, or days without wind.
A wind turbine generates about 2 megawatts of electricity per hour when running at peak performance.
A 1970s nuclear reactor in California generates 18,000 GWh
You'd need over 9000 wind turbines to match the output of that ONE reactor.
Each turbine requires 40 acres of land. That's 360,000 acres of land required MINIMUM. That's larger than the entire city of Los Angeles.

Diablo Canyon Power Plant takes up just 750 Acres.

In materials alone, you could build 50 nuclear plants for the same price as those 9000 wind tubines, and they'd be in service for 50 years with minimal maintenance required yearly.. The wind turbines would need to be REPLACED ENTIRELY every 3-5 years.

Good.

Yes. If we could surround Wash DC with windmills we could polly light up the east coast.

>ever recover
this wasnt some "act of nature"
POS wokesters intentionally crashed fuel prices
obama destroys coal industry
and tries to wreck shale drilling
biden on day one, cancel keystone pipeline
then cancelled drill permit after drill permit
US went from oil EXPORTER to importing oil
New England is freezing, and New York blocks new pipeline to big eastern gas fields
this isnt some unexpected consequence, you shits did it on purpose

wind is free, but it doesnt always blow. ask how many times a year the UK has to beg power from their nuclear neighbor

its not tinfoil, big environmentalist groups don't even pretend otherwise and will admit it when pressed

who the fuck do you think pays for that shit?

>develop a system on which you are constantly shipping energy in and out of this and that country in a 100% globalized market making you forever dependent on events and countries around the world for an affordable price or risk global economic collapse that happens over and over
