It didn't run out of fuel. It was either shot down or malfunctioned. Everyone on the ground reported a huge roar of jet noise just before it exploded.

So far it seems like a mistake or malfunction. Those old ass "drones" fly a predetermined course and by the time it fell down it was already completely out of fuel (no fire after impact). Either someone put some wrong coordinates in or there was some kind of malfunction, you don't target something which is at max range.
The NATO response to the entire situation is laughable though yeah

Have a family friend that works in croatian special forces, something like commandos in Croatia. Can't say alot but the story in base is going that it isnogta drone but that's the, cover up but something more of a plane, there found 2 parachutes and what media isn't saying they are searching for someone inside russia cus currently there is an outgoing plan that someone is entering Croatia trying to escorts someone or thing that fell with those parachute cus what his base buddies say the parachutes are designed for humans. Some special forces are currently inside woods around Zagreb cus they expect an evacuation plant but they are not sure from who since its like it's not a drone but not a plane also. Talked to him 30 min ago. Croatian special forces are on very high alert and are searching something in woods... just saying what I know. Its not a drone.
