Don't know about based, but if you want $$$$ combustion engineer.

welding, lose your cognitive function and die early death. based.

due to the excessive drinking, no?

Welding is cool but the pay is shit right now.
t. Welder who quit welding in January and now makes more hourly doing Uber eats

I’m a field technician that repairs copy machines, what line of work should I try and move into? I like the IT side and the mechanical aspect of my job but driving around is going to continue to kill my car (even before this inflation shit) - I got a meme degree (communications) but I think my resume looks better with this experience now.

Biology, so you can go to medical school or work in a biolab in Ukraine

How?

welding gives off toxic fumes, cancer, nervous system damage etc etc. when you do it for years it does damage

Feed/Seed.

There aren't a lot of old welders.

yes because they all retired by 30s

Land survey and civil engineering isn't too shabby. There are some shitty companies out there but you learn who they are and avoid them.

How much do you think a welder makes?

Trade isn't based you stupid mutt

yeah, i was going to start weld school. then i visited some manufacturers (asking for scraps to practice on) and saw what it would be like to spend 8-10 hours a day in such a place. Not good, even with the ventilation hoods etc. Then you look up the occupations with highest work related illness and death and yup, it's usually welding. Its a handy skill to have for at home and stuff, but i gave up on doing it for a living.

that's why you use a breathing apparatus dipshit.

About three fiddy

>Trade isn't based you stupid mutt
frenchie doesn't think skills are valuable. France's main export is marxism. hm.

Computer science. Learn the rules of reality

ideally, but it happens less often in practice. once the pressures of having to get shit done are there, the last thing you want to be fucking around with is that kind of thing all day.

I’m a land surveyor and it’s pretty based. Coworkers are all libertarian types who aren’t redneck and low iq spics. Plus you get to walk around all day and find some cool monuments and shit. And if you get tired of the field you can always transition into the office. Also the option of joining a union

3d printer -> welding yigs to build metal cnc -> engine, energy tech etc
