Gas prices are rising. Real estate prices are rising. Food is rising -- and there is no end in sight to this inflation. It is unprecedented -- nothing like this has happened in the past 40 years. It's time to stock up. Prices are increasing because of war which in turn is pushing energy prices higher. There will be less grain harvested in both Ukraine and Russia. This will affect current winter crops and spring planting. Brazil, US, Australia, and Canada do not have enough time to quickly substitute the shortages that will hit this summer. Russia and Ukraine are the #1 and #3 wheat exporter. This is a major source of calories for many people in Turkey and Egypt. Since wheat is processed into flour and flour is used in breads, it is a very common source of carbohydrates. These carbohydrates can be substituted with rice, corn, and various other grains -- either processed or whole.
Wheat flour is the most common use of wheat -- and it has a horrible shelf life. Here are some of the most common dry grain and processed grain products and their estimated shelf life: >wheat flour (6-12 months) >rice flour (6 months) >pasta (1 year) >almond flour (6 months) >rice (2 years) >oats (1+ year) >quinoa (1-2 years)
Shelf life of common wet grains: >corn (2+ years)
Rice is the most commonly consumed whole dry grain in the world and it virtually lasts years as long as you keep it dry and cool. This will be the first sought after substitute. Quinoa is a common rice substitute, so it will be the second most sought after followed by oats and then various alt-grain flours.
Other sources of carbohydrates include: >potatoes >beets >beans >lentils >bananas >apples >mangos >dates >raisins >goji berries
High density foods will be sought after, so I did not include potato chips or popcorn and other such similar food stuffs.
The time has come anons -- stock up, as much as you can, as much as you can afford. Protect yourself from the coming hyper-inflation and food shortages. Remember, you are not hoarding, you are curbing your financial losses from future inflation and insuring food variety selection when the shortages hit. Good luck, anons!
>declare sanctions against Russia >wreck your own economy because you relied on Russian exports >blame Russia for what you did to yourself w*stoids are retarded and gay
america is the largest food exporter on the fucking planet, we will be ok

>Other sources of carbohydrates include: coke, pepsi, sprite, dr.Pepper, etc

Double it up; if your savings is in a bank (not a Savings & Loan / Credit Union), withdraw in cash. Bleed them dry giving you physical money. (Bonus points if you make it metal coinage.)
>Mean old Russia isn't giving food to the people that sanctioned them! Are these people actually retarded?
Ayden Gonzalez
not just food. I have been stockpiling used textbooks. I expect a lot of the Internet information to be lost in some catastrophic event. It is nice to have good reference information just in case
Zachary Long
But, b burgers? Will this affect burgers too?
Jace Adams
low density, low value
Owen Parker
I advice everyone to start growing veggies and raising chickens right fucking now. Even if you live in a tiny apartment.
were just at the precipice of another 2008 , anyone whos been paying attention saw this coming at least 5 years away. the last 2 years of asset and commoddity price growth have zero economic fundamentals, its just the result of gibs. hope you have cash to buy in cheap
Elijah Green
Yes there is no bun and the grains that feed the burger are gone... 40$ for a burger is coming.... day of the flipper

terrible advice. neither are a source of carbs. while meat prices will be affected by this grain shortage, it will not be near as severe. animal grains are of low quality and often processed further such as molasses. vegetables like broccoli provide essential nutrients but are not a significant source of carbohydrates. carbohydrates provide calories (and some protein). without sufficient calories, a human will begin to starve. carbohydrates also provide satiation -- the feeling of being satisfied with a meal. grow corn. that's what you want to do. grow corn.
Asher Foster
if you don't buy up imperishable food now, you're a total sucker and you'll get jewed by the very supply chain, if not all the other faggots out there
Sebastian Rodriguez
You really think this government is going to keep our food here instead of giving it to third world shitholes?

cash is a horrible idea. guns. what you want to do is purchase guns. guns hold their value and in times of scarcity they rise in value, tremendously. they can also be used as barter if cash reserves at banks are not enough to satisfy bank withdrawals. bullets too are a good medium of exchange. in fact, bullets are the best medium of exchange when dealing with high food prices and food shortages.
Dominic Myers
You idiots were saying the same thing when covid started, and nothing happened. Kys.
Camden Richardson
this will terrify my neighbours (they're kikes)
Isaiah Gray
The US relies on fertilizer inputs from Russia. Even if enough can be produced domestically, the increased cost will be passed on the public. Maybe when food is three times as expensive, people will lose some weight (or just start killing each other more).
Kayden Jones
I had a chicken You have to feed it so it can lay eggs It was my garbage disposal basically But if I’m starving then there’s no leftovers and chicken dies
Oliver Ramirez
>actually eating carbs Take the keto pill retards

>cash is a horrible idea. Long-term; yes. For *RIGHT NIOW*, not so much: using cash makes it harder to track. Also withdrawing physical cash will stress the system. (e.g. "Bank Run") >guns. what you want to do is purchase guns. guns hold their value and in times of scarcity they rise in value, tremendously. they can also be used as barter if cash reserves at banks are not enough to satisfy bank withdrawals. Yes, but we're not quite to that point; right now most people *EXPECT* to have access to banking. > bullets too are a good medium of exchange. in fact, bullets are the best medium of exchange when dealing with high food prices and food shortages. Bullets are great, yes. But you seem to be misunderstanding: what I'm advocating is putting more stress on the system *AS YOU PREPARE*. *NOT* merely prepping. *NOT* that cash is good for prepping. (Silver is actually a good metal to have physically; it has nice antimicrobial properties.)

us will undoubtedly aid the ukrainian refugees and those in europe. but it will cost them. egypt and turkey will get preferential treatment. everyone else? they're on their own. like i said, it won't be just wheat, it will be so many other sources of carbs. it will be like a domino effect. one country finds one substitute which means another must find a substitute. countries with military power and financial clout will influence corrupt third world governments to sell out their people, selling their food supplies to first world nations. this will cause mass rioting and civil unrest. it will lead to war which will ultimately lead to the single largest refugee wave ever to head to europe. this time however, europeans will have no ability to share.

>wh*tes #cancel and #metoo russia >they cut off their own food and oil supply >wh*tes cry about what russia is doing to them
The w****'s yelp out in pain, they mimic scalded dogs while they sanction the entire world.
