The pieces of "Ukraine" that NATO is occupying is Russian land, and they are using force to prevent Russians from rejoining Russia. Russia doesn't like that, so Russia is sending troops into Russia in order to prevent NATO from continuing to occupy the parts of Russia that they claim are part of a made up country called Ukraine.
