The Ministry of Defense spoke about the heroic actions of three more Russian soldiers, participants in a special operation in Ukraine
The division of Major Dmitry Abakumov entered the battle with superior enemy forces. He destroyed ten military vehicles and crews of the "Grad" nationalists, as well as an enemy command post. This contributed to the successful advancement of the LNR forces.
Junior Sergeant Anton Demidov discovered the disguised enemy rocket systems. He reported this to the command, but, noticing that the nationalists were changing their position, he single-handedly entered into a deliberately unequal battle with them. As a result, the enemy battery was destroyed.
Senior Lieutenant Andrei Shapovalov, whose group was ambushed, organized a competent defense and entered into an unequal battle with the enemy. He personally destroyed three enemy infantry fighting vehicles and memory units. In addition, Shapovalov's group thwarted the impending attack on the Russian convoy. There are no losses among his people, but damage has been done to the manpower of the nationalists.
