Reminder that by even Ukrain's claimed Russian losses(asset losses, not talking about casualties), and wikipedia's road cope estimate of territory gains Russia's invasion for the first 8 days were on par with any rapid invasion in history. This also includes Russia's advance slowing down several times due to ceasefires for negotiations. And compared to recent wars Russia has been extremely reserved in it's disruption of life, incredibly limited damage to urban environments, no mass cuts of power or communications. If you use more reasonable estimates for losses and actual gains not roadcope they've outperformed everyone. You don't have to believe a single Russian MoD or shill claim to verify this.
Any "military expert" that comes out calling this operation a "disaster" because of a couple downed aircraft and vehicles very clearly doesn't understand aggressive maneuver warfare or military operations in general. This is at worst an average performance.

A teacher of mine walked up to us once to say hi and buy a kilo of tomatoes. I remember the deep sadness in his eyes as he was looking at me.

And even if you manage to temporarily surpress enemy air defences, your soldiers will turn tail and bolt the second they get a whiff of their diseased, infected rations.
You will never be relevant. You wrench out a fake ICBM every single Victory Day and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll voluntarily disarm, put in an application to join the EU, and plunge into the first world. China will look at you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment of being your ally. They’ll replace you with India on the UNSC, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know Russia as a regional power. Your Soviet armour will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a lower G20 economy.
