I'm writing a philosophy paper, and I need examples of "good" cancel culture, aka cancel culture that was deserved, like in the case of amber heard abusing johnny depp.
Any ideas?
Good cancel culture?
Ostracism
Didn't read your post but I coomed, also sage.
the fuck is ostracism
well it gets attention
Nigger ass
Cancel nigger ass coalburrners
>the fuck is ostracism
kek, is this a paper for middle school? read a book, retard.
cancel culture is retarded. letting a collective of twitter retards most of are probably teenagers decide the morality of a human being on one fuck up.
she looks a bit brown thus she is built for BWC
it isn't an example
well that's what im arguing
>I'm writing a philosophy paper
>the fuck is ostracism
Top kek.
The sad thing is, I can actually believe a philosophy student would be this ignorant. Dumbest cunts on campus by far in my uni years.
Not a modern example, perhaps, but an example nonetheless.
literally just taking one class for a required credit, you got examples or not
>the fuck is ostracism
you must be baiting
Your best bet would be to look into the practice of people being "sent to Coventry" in English boarding schools of the past. This sort of thing serves a valuable purpose in enclosed systems but breaks down on a larger scale.
fuckin, yeah looked it up that's just discrimination cool got it, not that hard
Every society at every point in history had a dominant ideology, and a "cancel culture", aka social stigmas and boundaries that you would get punished for violating. It's normal and good to maintain a moral and healthy society. The problem with leftists is that the dominant ideology and social boundaries they want to impose on us are inherently evil and contrary to human nature. This is why I think it's wrong of conservatives to argue against leftism and cancel culture in terms of freedom of speech; it's not about that, I agree with the left that certain behaviors and opinions should lead to social ostracism, we just completely disagree on what those behaviors and opinions should be.
So "good cancel culture" would be any instance in history where a person committed something wrong but not illegal, and faced massive social backlash from a based, healthy and normal society. Like Hollywood trying to push degeneracy in its movies and abolish the Hayes code in the 60s, and facing major pushback from Christians.
The kids are so stupid these days you get 2 syllables in a word max.
T adjunct
It's normal and good, even necessary, in order to maintain a moral and healthy society*
what I'm trying to argue is mills point, the whole “whenever there is a definite damage either to an individual or the public, the case is taken out of the province of liberty and in that of morality or law”, because I need to define a "rule" as my claim, and see if it holds up against various examples, so I'm trying to find examples of harm
>exiling someone isn’t cancelling them
Same here.
youre gonna make a counter argument to your paper then? goodluck putting your shoes in the minds of the logic acrobatics twittards go through to push their idealistic agendas
>my pov is morally good therefore I will use every immoral act to prove it
Not with that shitty attitude I don’t
Jesus using the whip on the jews in the temple trying to trap people in usury.
You torking to 12 year olds here.
Ostracism was not just "discrimination" lol. Keep researching.
Russia is getting cancelled a lot lately, don't you think?
>I'm writing a philosophy paper, and I need examples of "good" cancel culture
What's next? Good public lynchings culture? If you have any balls at all, write a paper about how cancel culture can never be good.
yes, cancel woke propaganda and porn
you mean sanctioned? Yeah I guess that's a good example, thanks.
I mean, I don't know how I'd phrase that yet but still
Well, even in the case of Amber Heard abusing johnny depp, and that not garnering any social media or legal backlash?
I think public attention to issues like that which don't gather much click traffic on news sites has potential for being "good"
It was pretty good when Hitler cancelled the Jews.
When Hitler cancelled the jews.
>even in the case of Amber Heard abusing johnny depp, and that not garnering any social media or legal backlash?
Listen, you fucking moron... why are you studying philosophy if you can't tell the difference between isolated incidents of something being "good", and a "culture" of it being "good"?
Lmao
Usury canceled in the third reich. Transgender pedo propaganda being burned in the reich. Gipsys and retards being canceled in the third reich
right so what are the isolated incidents
It doesn't matter. None of them are examples of cancer culture being good. Are you brown or female by any chance?
no, i'm german straight and male, everything you cucks love to bits
