If the US, UK, etc. ban Russian oil and wheat, won't they just sell it to China, Best Korea, Venezuela, etc?

It hurts both, with less buyers Russia can demand less for their natural resources. With less suppliers we have to pay more. The difference can't end up being that great though, or China/India buying Russian shit and then selling it to us becomes profitable and somewhat noramlises the price.

Now you know that is not true. It is about doing what's best for everyone as a whole. Sometimes it doesn't work out for all people but they make the best choices they can. $8 per gallon gas helps nobody.
