Can we just acknowledge that the natsoc shit is supposed to be a joke? This thing's gone on for a decade now, I think it's time to at least have it out there, and most of you fags haven't even been around long enough to be aware of what the joke was to begin with.
This site used to be the creative cutting edge of the Internet before Any Forums became the biggest board and newfags who weren't in on the joke started to take the political shit to heart. The Any Forums era took NONE of it seriously, and it made new fun content a whole lot more plentiful than it is now. Like, in today's era, Chad, Wojak (/ Feels Guy), and Pepe have been dominant mascots for several years, which was absolutely NOT the norm before Any Forums took the stage. Hell, we had Encyclopedia Dramatica in a much more popular position, just to keep track of all the new shit that dropped out of here every week. Now, this place is running on the fumes of past creativity that thrived back when people genuinely didn't give a shit.
Even things that were offensive were fun for everyone and went viral without some triggered backlash because everyone could be secure in the idea that we were just being chucklefucks saying it without hatred in our hearts. Shit stops being funny if you're the asshat taking it seriously, or if you're going out and unironically buying/spreading the Nazi shit enough for corpos to start writing rules against being edgy and moving the culture along with it. I miss being able to say "nigger faggot tranny cunt" without someone being able to make a GENUINELY REASONABLE assumption that I have some sort of contempt for niggers, faggots, trannies, or women. They CAN assume that nowadays, because of assholes like you having unironic contempt for these people whenever you say these kinds of things.
None of this is going to be fixed for a long time, but I thought that since you're here, you should know. This place was always the asshole of the Internet, but once upon a time, it at least it shat out gold.
