Memes aside

How does Russia come back from this? Is there any scenario in which they aren't completely fucked?

Even if Russia apologizes, recalls the army, lets Ukraine have Crimea back, what happens then? Russia is still fucked lol....

So this means that they can only double down infinitely, because there's no benefit to Russia to call everything off now, they're fucked no matter what they do, so the only option is to double down, and keep doubling down

The world has given Russia NO CHANCE at redemption, no matter what Russia does, it is FUCKED.

So WW3 is 100% going to happen, sooner, rather than later.

Just keep thing in your own desert island, son of criminal. You dont know shit about this happening.

Now try again in english please

After you faggot learn Art of War 101

What do you mean come back? We're not coming back, we're going through with this. Ukraine will be taken and some things will be signed, relations with West likely will get severed and we turn our exports to the East.

People are talking about default happening, but I suspect don't even know what default is and why it happens.

The western assumption that people cannot go on without them is what brought us to this situation, while in fact it would seem that it's quite the opposite - we need west for creature comforts while EU needs us for their electricity, heating, freighting.

this, not to mention Russia provides a substantial portion of raw materials for manufacturing these creature comforts or essential parts, like semiconductors as well. If companies won't sell the semiconductors because of sanctions, then RF can turn around and say 'you don't get these materials to make them, then' and so there becomes a constrained supply for everyone.

this russian nigger gets it

russia doesn't espeially need any 1st world countries. They manage this just fine

This. Even if the Ukraine remains a broken mess for a decade the bear wins. Failed states don't join NATO and these are winter countries for fuck sakes.

and it's safe to assume that Ukraine is just the beginning
next stop according to "December's demands": pushing NATO back to 1997
with a tiny possibility of a nuclear war

The war in Ukraine is a proxy war between the US and Russia. The US has already spent over 4 billion dollars sending 17,000 javelin missiles to Ukraine. Ukrainians may be pulling the trigger, but you would be deluded to think that they are behind the war. US is also providing analysis and likely sharing satellite data/etc.

When you consider all of this, if US spends 200k destroying a 5k 1970s soviet truck. Then Russia is actually winning the opening salvos of this war.

>for a decade
do you really think it would suit Russia or Putin that Ukraine wouldn't join NATO for a decade?
as long as the bear has its claws, Ukraine and Georgia will never join NATO

Europe's need for affordable energy

I may have to buy android phone instead of phone, use domestic alternative for spotify and netflix while out krautbros might have to shut down factories and scrape the bottom of the barrel to afford a loaf of bread.

We might lack in medicine and microelectronics, but now when there's a black hole of a market opening for it, you wouldn't expect it to be empty for a long time, would you?

Besides, sanctions represent the pain threshold of EU/American citizens. The older generation that has seen the 90s reacted to the whole trade blockade thing with a "first time?" meme.
You'd have to do much worse than that to actually hurt us.

here we GOOOOO

They will come back stronger and detached from globohomo, sanctions will destroy Europe and the Western world in general.

And, I get it, EU and american leaders have been using "dem fighting words" for the past week to raise a facade of competence and control over the situation. But there's a serious problem that's hanging over their heads: when elections soon come, do you think eu folks will vote for people that value virtue signalling over people that will insure that their home is heated in the winter and their children are fed?

The bigger question is how does the U.S. and especially the EU come back from this. Russia is largely self sufficient and is a trading partner with India and China. EU is beyond fucked.

How long can the west handle gas prices food prices. Russia knows they can sit tight and watch the population in the west turn on their government

They will vote for people who promis to up the military spending after seeing open war is still a thing in Europe

>We might lack in medicine and microelectronics
Isn't China the one who produces all this shit? They will fix you up with it.

they will vote for whoever media tells them to vote.

BOT.

>Russia knows they can sit tight
Russia has 3rd largest proven oil reserve and they pump out su-35 at 1/3 cost of f35

Zoomers will have to learn what dachas are really for

Source: growing up in provinces in the 90s. At least one day every weekend in the summer was spent helping grow food.

With a leader that isn't retarded, but the Russians haven't managed that in like 150 years.

Knowing Europeans, they're going to vote for the Green Party which will say it's good for the climate.

yeah boyyyy

bro you're going to be drafted and deploy as security forces in Ukraine and get killed by an IED

Yeah Kremlin shill, when this war is over in 10 years you may think about anything else.

Their vote is reddit vote. Democracy my ass.

No no NOOOOO I want to play vidya in my RGB lit room all day

I think you're wrong. Virtue signalling, counting cow farts, saving trans nigger people and selling NFTs are luxuries the western countries somehow managed to afford in the last 5 years, but this is not what is going to hold attention when real problems are present.

Personally, I am glad that we are the ones to shake the world awake.

This shows globalism as a total failure. Sure you can trade. But critcal resources and infrastructure cannot be outsourced. The (((boomers))) who allowed this have doomed us all

> The (((boomers)
