My electricity bill is going from £400 a year to £900. I have no heating, no hot water. The only things I have is a 5w light bulb, a desktop pc, and a microwave. My bill is more than doubled, I can't afford this but there is nothing I can cut back on. I don't want to eat cold food in the dark with no pc

Congrats ano you don't have to come this god forsaken place again your free

How is this possible? Has England gone back to water wheels?

You pay two fees. You pay to have the electricity connection and you pay for usage. So even if you use less every they will still raise the base rate you have to pay to have the possibility of keeping the lights on. Honk honk. Mine is ~£3000pa now

I used to be with Ebico and zero standing charge, my bill was £200 a year in 2015

start executing highly placed politicians and their major donors until they provide assistance to people like you user.

You vill own nothing und you vill be happy

I'm afraid of this happening. There will be chaos and martial law

I was with people's energy. Now like me you've been moved to (((British Gas))) and they are using their monopoly power to price gouge and rip off the consumer. Expect October price cap to fuck you even more.

my electricity bill is 32 bucks per year. Wanna switch?

>British Gas has reported a big increase in profits amid the energy crisis. The parent company Centrica has today published its financial results showing British Gas recorded a 44% rise in adjusted operating profit

Maybe you should've voted differently lel.

God I absolutely love living rent and bill free on a company farm house. The poultry farmer is king in the land of rent cucks. I have not paid a single house bill in my entire life. No rent, no power or water. I rent my other home out while some pathetic gen xers pay my mortgage.

Fuck YOU!

I'm seriously considering making my own power, I'd supply others too donation only.
You can use RED DIESEL for NON COMMERCIAL POWER GENERATION.

And that's better than the alternative

> lives in a crippled shithole of the third world
> wanna switch?
no thanks, retard. you're stuck in your commie hell hole for eternity.

Switch to Octopus brainlet. They take £60 per month direct debit but my bill is typically £40 per month. That's for me living alone in two-bed flat
And if someone refers you both of you get £50 credit

Yeah, no, that wouldn’t work here. All the major parties are signed onto the Davos talking points. No matter who we vote for, the system is structured in such a way that we can only have a government made of constipated shit, stinky shit or diarrhoea.
We can vote for independent candidates, but there isn’t the structure in place to actually have a government run by a group of them. It would also take a massive cultural shift to stop the “My grandad voted Labour, my parents voted Labour, so I’ll vote Labour “ attitude that prevails in the U.K.

This is what you get for being too based to vote for Jeremy Corbyn. You ironically had a chance to jump off the neo-feudalism arc but the ruling class tricked you into thinking it was clever to vote against your interests. Enjoy destitution chud!

i take it corbyn is in charge in your dimension?

Sorry user, penis mutilation rights and gay-arse-fucking-parades in the Ukraine are more important than Europe having cheap Russian gas, they are the ""baddies"" now...

for a board full of patriotic wealthy christian white men you fags make tons of money threads
are you finally feeling the drumpf economy?

Light a candle and zip up your jacket

my combined electric and gas bill was £420 a year last year and I use hot water and heating. Do you have an insanely power-hungry pc? Or maybe there's some sort of billing error?
