For decades the Dutch were told that Gas ( LNG ) prices were coupled to oil price. But Oil supplies have nothing to do with Russia or Ukraine, yet Gasoline prices are raised. Eventhough the Dutch buy some gas from Russia, Most of it comes from Norway, England and Middle east.
The High energy prices are a result of price gouging. The Dutch are being ripped off
Noooo we can't reduce gas tax because we would have to cut spending on education (not our 90bil green transition!), even though the money raised by the taxes is going up and we're collecting more tax now than when we made the budget! Don't worry, we will subsidise the minima struggling to pay their energy bills, we DO have money for that!
Soon everyone will be poor and only make ends meet by the grace of the government, surely they won't abuse that power.

Batteries lose 10% capacity every year even if unused.
After 5 years you'll want to replace the battery. but the battery costs as much as a new car ( € 16.000 )
The price of an oil drum was € 107 a year ago on the first of march and is € 106 on the first of march this year. About the same price but you pay almost € 1 more at the pump. Yes, they are fucking us over and putting the blame on covid and Putin.
Electric vehicles can only become interesting when they start rolling out aluminum oxide batteries. They are smaller in size, 4 times capacity and can simply be refueled by adding oxygen. Simply swap batteries at a station. At every "refresh" They are as good as new. The price will be similar or even lower than filling up your gas tank
