I put one of those in every vehicle Ive owned. I have seen teslas out in the winter but I have doubts they are viable on longer trips on cold days. Canada and northern US will be using gas and diesel forever.

People don't realize that if everyone drove electric vehicles you would need lots the size of airports for people to charge their vehicles. Imagine if every time you pulled up to the gas station the person in front of you had to fill up for over an hour... The electric car idea is not feasible. Just this year there was a story of a rise in people being attacked for taking up electric vehicle charging ports.
The reason people avoid public transportation here is to AVOID NIGGERS. So no, never gonna happen.
