Putin is really trying to destroy Russia isn't he? This'll hurt him more then it will Europe. 30% of Russia's GDP comes from the gas it sells to Europe.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak:
Russian has every right to make a "mirror" decision and impose an embargo on gas pumping through the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline.
Europe today consumes about 500 billion cubic meters of gas per year, 40% of this consumption is provided by Russia.
Russia is the largest supplier of oil to Europe. Europe consumes about 500 million tons of oil, of which about 150 million tons (or 30%) is supplied from Russia. In addition, Russia supplies Europe with 80 million tons of petroleum products.
The rejection of Russian oil will lead to disastrous consequences for the world market. The surge in prices will be unpredictable - more than $ 300 per barrel.
European politicians should honestly warn their citizens and consumers what awaits them, and that prices at gas stations, electricity, and heating will soar. This will affect other markets, including the American one.
Russia knows where to redirect supplies in case Europe and the United States refuse to purchase Russian oil and petroleum products.
The Russian government has not yet decided on counter-sanctions related to the energy embargo.

Australia is a good trading partner of ours.

>unpredictable - more than $ 300 per barrel.
If it's unpredictable.
Then how come he predicts it to be over $300?
Unless his prediction is way off.
Jacob Perry
Whatever the fuck a Ukraine is, it sure as shit isn't worth $4.10 a gallon at the pump.
