This is the first war of its kind in a very long time in the 21th century. There are numerous factors against Russia; 1. Bad season for invasion (mud) 2. Russias hand was forced instead of being able to act on its own schedule 3. As I said, first war of its kind in a very long time, so everything is kinda experimential and a learning experience. The above factors will result in mistakes which everyone (including Russia) will learn from and not repeat to the same extent in the next war.
Regardless of the above, Russia is conducting itself exceptionally well, and will without a shadow of a doubt crush Ukraine by the latest the end of March.
