If they were taken care of. Otherwise, you're asking for bugs. And maybe other wildlife, like deer. Member that white deer?

No, you have no understanding of the "homeless problem".

Homeless hunger does not exist. The homeless are mentally ill drug addicts who refuse services and refuse to work. They would burn the fruit tree where it stands just to say "fuck you" to you for offering them fruit instead of cash for drugs.

No retard, you will just end up with rotten fruit all over the street for 2 weeks in late September

Hunger for food maybe! Hunger for drugs no.

No, I used to live next to a lawyers office in a small city that had an extremely bad homeless problem. The lawyer had pear trees that produced a ton of fruit and hung right over the fence so people walking down the alley could just take them if they pleased. The homeless would drink and shoot up under these trees during the summer and not once did I ever see one of them eat a single pear when they were in season. At best some homeless could grab some and then throw them at my building while screaming.

Who says there will be cars in the clean equitable cities of the future when the fruit tree plan is enacted?

let them eat trees

Yep.

>beans grow on trees
I am educated

Theoretically. However in most US fruit trees attract many pests and develop other issues that require active care and treatment in order to bear fruit. There’s no way the government could responsibly manage that. They can barely get people to water and plant shit correctly let alone meticulously care for masses of fruit trees

His goal is to become a dominant power and terraform the world so banan grows everywhere

Kill the homeless.
Bury them about 2 feet underground.
Plant fruit tree on top of them.
Cover with peat moss and pine mulch to acidify soil.

This is how we solve the homeless crisis AND grow fruit trees so that it never happens again. This is a non-aggressive act.

The only way trees are going to solve homelessness is if we start hanging junkies from them user.

prepare for weekly west nile supervariant bonanza perpetuated by megaroided GMO fueled fruit flies

Yes, because during the 4-5 years minimum it will take for them to give fruit, all the homeless will have starved to death, thus ending their hunger.

so let me get this straight
the government bans anyone from planting and maintaining fruit trees to feed the homeless but they are too incompetent to do anything but hand out crack pipes?

No. It would take a crazy number of trees, and they would have to give fruit all year round.

>rotten fruit all over the street
good. this wouldn't be a problem if we let wild life eat the surplus fruit.
>but muh animal shit.
animal shit is good for the soil. stop being a fucking android.
>muh smell
The atmosphere of the city would change and you wouldn't have to breathe so much toxic air. The weeds, herbs like white clovers and kudzu have the power to convert toxic gasses into nutrients for the soil. Decomposing organic matter generates humus, dark soil filled with worms, snails, bacteria and fungus. It's good.
Food wouldn't be a problem, then. Humans would just have to learn to deal with being surrounded by wild life without killing everything around them with herbicides and extermination campaigns against wild animals (like the american bison). Cars would have some trouble moving around, but humans would no longer need to move so far away to get to "civilization centers", because the very concept of civilization and what it means to be civilized would change. The meaning of work would change. instead of working bullshit jobs to live and be able to do hobbies, peoples lives and hobbies would be their work.

No the homeless belly is not hungry. His mind and spirit are empty. Arbeit Macht Frei. A homeless is a man without purpose. In Japan they hire elderly to stand by recycling bins to make sure you recycle properly or to pretend to direct traffic. It's make work jobs. But even Japan has a homeless issue from people working at spotty seasonal jobs or losing their ability to work those jobs from medical issues where they turn to drinking. They call people Grasshoppers with spotty work history but most jobs can be called throw away jobs now. Jobs that are such shit they are worthless and trash.

In that sense fruit trees can stop hunger but its the activity of growing the fruit and becoming a integrated member of a community with a purpose, that generates a desired product. Either to a cult of hobos internal artisanal trade or Once every few months they put on rags and tell you its a renaissance fair and their hobo jams is actually period authentic.

>The homeless are mentally ill drug addicts who refuse services and refuse to work.
Modern society was projected by mentally ill "humans" who suffer from severe psychopathy and megalomania. Control freaks. Being unable to cope and needing drugs just to continue on is not a sign that there's something wrong with the person. We live in a very unnatural environment, inside the modern cities. Everything is designed to create anxiety. Even the word "business" comes from a root word that means "anxiety". humans are not supposed to be engaged in business (busy-ness, being busy, anxious). We are supposed to live our lives, in harmony with the ecosystem around us. Every action has a purpose. There are no bullshit jobs when the human lives a natural life. Every action is important. Even the bone that's left after a meal has an use. No energy is wasted. It's a life of wisdom and purpose, where every action has a meaning and every living creature matters in the grand scheme.

Also the people attempting to address the homeless issue minds and spirits are also empty. They will tell you things like "no one has ever cured and can ever cure the homeless crisis" Youre depending on a people to cure an issue that suffer from the same disease.
