Russia's it-sector is close to collapse. Crown jewel of Russian it, Yandex, has informed investors that it can not meet it's obligations anymore, as it has no lines of revenue and Russia is still shut out of the stock exchange. All of a sudden, Russians need to go back to the good old, tried, and true way to make money: farming, hunting, drug dealing, and collecting natural resources like coal and the Arctic sea ice, which is also at it's lowest point in the last 200 years.
We are getting close to the point where Russians do not have enough money to buy clothes. In fact, a few years ago most Russians could afford a winter hat and coat, but now? Many are freezing on the street. And if we are to believe the last IMF report, Russians will lose half their income by 2023, because of the sanctions resulting from the invasion of Ukraine. Electricity and running water are now luxuries, and food is becoming a scarce commodity. Think it's bad now? It's getting worse.
The moral of the story? Never be proud and never vote for a strong leader, because he just might end up like Mr. Putin and chimp out for no reason. It's a flaw in my opinion, no nation should rest on one man. Does anybody in the world know who is the president of Switzerland? How about Netherlands? Norway? These are one of the best countries to live in, they don't see themselves as people who need to be herd like livestock, but as people who should push together as one nation.
