The F-22 is insane. It’s fast, stealthy, maneuverable and lethal. I can’t think of a fighter that even comes close. It was designed to dominate the battlefield.

A growler and a mig would smoke the f22 which is more realistic in actual aerial combat you wouldn't send them alone. I can't remember what the russian growler is called I think the Su57 has growler capabilities.

The current F-15c’s are getting upgraded to the F15s. The F-15 was and still is a very formidable fighter. The Su-35s are a pretty serious threat to them, but they’re flown by poorly trained slavs.

This is almost entirely from MANPADS which NATO is flooding the Ukraine with.

So realistically? It doesn't matter whose aircraft are better. They're all equally obsolete.
Even Russias aircraft are too expensive to make those kind of losses acceptable.

The best planes NATO has are the Rafale for air superiority, the F35 for general purpose waste of money, the B52 for mass bombing, and that's pretty much it

Look at how it went down during the Iran Iraq war, Iraq had a big Soviet supplied and trained airforce vs a smaller American trained and supplied Airforce under embargo with no spare parts. The Iraqis got humiliated. They were getting shot down before they knew they were in a fight and got all their airfields blown up. basically they can't fly anything because they are afraid of losing the planes they have, russia doesnt have an economy at all so any loss basically cannot be replaced, meaning that russia still doesnt have air superiority over ukraine, it's still a contested airspace despite russia doing a surprise attack, launching ballistic missiles to strike airfields and planes before declaring war, and having far more planes than ukraine does

He can't. They can't even acquire a lock on the Raptor until they're within visual range. All they can do is watch it with the tracking radar getting closer and closer and they can't do anything but set their batteries to counter missile mode to try and stop HARMs or standoff range bombs.

the only unmatched air superiority fighter in the world is the F-15, which has NEVER been shot down air to air or air to ground in it's entire history. it has an insane air to air kill confirmed kill count of 102 - 0. this includes all American allies who purchased the f-15 and currently use it in various different combat zones. the f-15 has also shot down a satellite.

due to the overperformance of the f-15 the airforce recently requested congress purchase more, (an updated version for todays day and age) and cancel the continued purchase of the f-35 and f-22.

so why is the f-15 so unmatched? because of it's gigantic radar. while all fighter planes do feature radar, the f-15 has the strongest radar ever put in a fighter, radar so strong that no radar jamming has ever been effective against it, furthermore, it carries missiles that can shoot over the horizon, in essence, it can flight higher, faster and shoot farther accurately against any airplane in the sky, and it's radar is so strong stealth has no effect against it.

in short, it's a checkmate against pretty much everything else in the sky, and that's without AWACS support... with it, it doesn't even need to use that stupid high powered radar and can slaughter enemy fighters from beyond the horizon without even being spotted.

it's not as good as the french rafale but it's still way better at shooting down planes than the F35

In WW2 terms, the F22 and Rafale would be fighters while the F35 is closer to a medium bomber/attack aircraft

They have a flight ceiling of like 4km max, so it doesn't matter because they can't go high enough.

Problem is the same issue applies to the western aircraft.
Tactical aircraft are mostly obsolete now. Or limited extremely in terms of their use cases.

How much does it take away from long range interception if you would need to keep refueling? Not much of an air superiority fighter when it gets winded after running a short distance. Then again this plane does represent the average Amerifat.
