geothermal is good for air conditioning believe it or not. See the ground water remains the same temperature all the time, so what you do is you pump down water in a pipe, ground water cools the pipe, then pump the water through a heat exchanger to cool your house.

Molten Salt Reactors can do that directly with very little infrastructure. Drop water on a sufficiently hot surface and it splits into H2 and O2 directly. We should have had a nuclear/hydrogen power combo ages ago, yet here we are.
