It's all part of the plan. Biden doubled the amount of oil we import from Russia. At 125 a barrel we are giving them over a billion dollars a day to help finance their war. We are sanctioning everything, but oil. Oh no Russians can't drink soda and get diabetes or watch American sportsball. If we wanted to end the war, we would stop importing their oil.

At least here in Sweden, where the cost of gas is 60%, the consumer couple be alleviated if the state temporarily lowers the taxes of it. Though I guess that's never going to happen.
Don't worry, conversion for combustion engines are on the way. They are being stifled by the government every step of the way, but extreme times call for extreme measures. They're being made anyway, and once a schematic is ready, it will be distributed for free. What materials can be easily acquired by anyone is the toughest hurdle for the time being. They want to stop the energy renaissance, but all they can stop is the profit, not the progress. Profit means nothing to some of us though. They cannot stop what they cannot control.
