That's probably why the Ukrainian Su-27 that landed fully armed in Romania, left Romania for Ukraine without a single missile, probably not even a single bullet. Just to make sure that this Su-27 will not engage in any battle but must land in Ukraine to get weapons for combat.

From what I know, the jets are already worked on to remove the NATO upgrades etc. and make them consistent with what Ukrainians are flying on.

They obviously won't be operating from polish airfields, but most probably Ukrainian pilots will be taken to Poland and fly them back to Ukraine.
