Only POPAs trust the media

Cuz they're high off each other's butt clouds and depleted all their braincells

biology, I think
baked in
authority figure therefore

They're an NPC, and the ones that aren't are too naive to understand the sinister cogs behind the curtain.

>Ah yes, I stepped in some cow shit earlier

Modern society has been marked by specialisation of trades, this has been very good for the economy, but one of the side effects has also been the specialisation of information. Since it's hard for people to know everything, people mostly believe the media. This was easier, particularly in Aus, when there were only like 3 tv stations and 4 papers.
The entirety of modern western covilisation revolves around the idea of trust. You don't have to learn medicine, the doctor knows, you don't have to invesitage the news yourself, the media knows, in essence, the trust in authority and professionalism of random people.
For a while, this actually worked pretty well, it wasn't perfect, but most of the time it worked.
Now, shit's goign to hell and at the same time, you have alternative sources of information, like here.
But for the normies, the amount of redecorating they would have to do inside their head to believe the counter narrative is so huge, they won't do it until forced to by something like a vax death in the family and sometimes not even then.

>behind the curtain
You would think that normies would be able to understand The Wizard of Oz, but I guess not.

Because no matter what they'll always say "well c'mon they wouldn't lie about this."

I want to imoregnate this cheap hooker

I don't trust any source of information, unless I have verified it. I might trust the media if the information they have provided is solid.
Why is this so hard for conservatards to wrap their heads around? Especially given conservative sources are full of holes and biases also.
Conservatives need to understand that having an opinion contrary to the mainstream narrative doesn't give it credence BECAUSE it is contrary; your opinion is either right or wrong, because it is right or wrong—the media holds no weight in this value judgment.

Any system which offers "truth" or any amount of certainty is something people cling to

On that note
All religion, philosophy, mythology et al are allegories/metaphorical systems to awaken human consciousness

Most people are unconscious apes running around NPC style

No one is in control.

Wake.up

Because there are people that the opposite of "Conspiracy Theorists"... They are "Conformity Theorists." They just believe what authority tells them as if it is true... They have very little free thinking ability and are basically an NPC.

'Conformity theorists' ooh, i like that user.

In-group and out-group bias, leading to trust of their institutions and disdain for anything that opposes it. One cohort is older people who still think America is what it once was, and implicitly trust the media, government, banks, businesses, and so forth because they think that they are still part of it. The next would be Democrats who tow the party line, or conversely Republicans who will follow Fox News even if it suddenly goes full neocon like it has recently. Then there are those who know the media is lying to them, but parrot it anyways for political gain. Followed by those who are ignorant and fall for whatever sound bites surround them.

I'LL TELL YOU WHY

people are mostly adapted to be feudal serfs and will outsource alot of their agency to whoever they think has authority.

They're bribed to. If your politics are what the media says you can be employed by corporations.

Jews were right about the goyim. They're cattle and should be treated as such.

I feel it’s only boomers and liberals that watch the news these days

I haven't watched regular tv in about 14 years, people can find anything they want on the internet and watch it when they like.

unfathomably based.
