The problem with leftist (I'm an old school lefty) is that they can feel what they want but no one has been able to articulate the exact changes necessary to match what they feel. Marxism addresses alienation and lack of agency in society; I think I just stubbled on a concrete tweak to society that addresses both while also solving problems that appeal to Any Forums.
So people were evolved to thrive in groups of 100-150 people. And we had a sense of tradition and culture community and agency through our religious institutions which are more or less socially obsolete. (because of technology etc. and global capitalism).
In order to get those things back here are two concrete things that can be done.
1.Globally shorten the work week to 4 days.
2. Everyone should be given tax incentives to participate in a neighborhood wide (no more than 250 people) collaboration group with the goal of serving or bettering the community (anyway they collectively agree) at least once per week.
3. Each group is given a budget from taxes to do whatever they collectively decide.
Bettering the community isn't the main thing here but it may well happen. Its about participation, ownership, and fixing alienation. It will give people more opportunities to make friends, fuck, and build real communities and customs like we used to have. We can be human again.
Other than the 4 day work week isn't this what Mormons do?

Finally a leftist with a brain. This is basically what we want and anybody with a brain wants anyways, for us it’s just the addition of removing undesirable elements. Sad to say but most people on your side aren’t interested in what you are proposing as far as I can tell. They are control freaks and want to restrict freedom while preaching about it. To them it’s about having a consensus and anybody who deviates must be dealt with, harshly. I feel if you can somehow add a reduction in importance of cities and a “return to nature” with way more greenery (to shut the faggot environmentalists up also) you’d have something going. It could take that form. Its more of a secular replacement mandated by gov and funded by taxes. But the activities ranging from cleaning, event planning, creating community spaces, are outside of government control and directed and chosen by the community.
