Let's compare the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the US invasion of Iraq.
An enemy army of over 1 million was slaughtered bearing almost 0 Americans deaths not from friendly fire. The invasion was swift, leading to the collapse of the Iraqi government and the military of Iraq in about three weeks. The oil infrastructure of Iraq was rapidly seized and secured with limited damage in that time
The Iraqi army surrendered en masse because the Shiites did not want to fight for Saddam, and the Kurds even less. Another difference is that the Russians don't play hard core, at least not yet.
Evan Myers
Baghdad had one of the most set up defenses on the planet in 1991 too. Paid the soviets a lot of money to set up their shields. Still a turkey shoot while way through. Russians suck and the idea that they could hold up in conventional warfare with us is delusion
Luke Rodriguez
Russia basically tried to use the US’s playbook in Iraq except Ukraines defenses didn’t melt away like the Iraqis did. What Is unforgivable though for the Russians is the lack of logistics they simply didn’t plan for a costly war that is a strategic level fuck up and one that has bitten them in the ass hard.

in the 3 years of the Korean war, US lost 36,574 troops

Served alongside Russians back in Bosnia. Probably the most undisciplined lazy worthless "soldiers" id ever seen. Not surprised at all they are getting stomped by a bunch of farmers and civilians.
Asher Carter
>Russians don't play hard core, at least not yet. what does this even mean that russians dont bomb civilians?
(a) they are bombing civilians (b) the american surgical strikes rarely hit civilians i mean ya, when we did it made headlines about muh poor muslims but that tells you how rare it was
by hard core do you mean using surgical airstrikes? afaik they are but that's kind of the point the US is predicated on air superiority
what ace in the hole does russia have left to play they're losing more men in a day than we lost in a month and ours were from friendly fire or other nonsense
>ya well, the iraq's gave up really quick who the fuck wouldnt, its the US army for christ's sake you think they snap surrender to the ruskies? LMAO
They tried the soft way, because they wanna integrate ukraine.
Easton Cox
WW2 era vs modern warfare

>the american surgical strikes rarely hit civilians >i mean ya, when we did it made headlines about muh poor muslims but that tells you how rare it was
Yeah, believe your own propaganda
James Miller
>belives global fire power
Carson Torres
jesus christ imagine being this retarded CNN and every liberal station was digging 24/7 for EVERY sob story on a civilian causality
you think the US just bombed the side of civilian towers ww2 style like this? LMFAO
>Russia built up its forces for month, but on day 1 of the attack already moved in armor and infantry. Why not bomb the shit out of the Ukraine military for at least a week and THEN move in like the US did?
This is beyond retarded. Russian airforce isnt great, but better than Ukrainian and with their missiles its not even a competition. Whats the point of having near every pilot gain experience in Syria for years to then not use this advantage. You ownt get dog fights anyway.
Literal Zerg rush.
Kevin Wilson
>being in a war as an American yeah, turns out it's pretty easy to be a fatass playing bing bing wahoo behind a screen
Luke Martin
Yeah, repeatedly. Are you retarded?
Daniel Rodriguez
I suppose the main difference is that the Russians invaded Ukraine because they wanted to, and the US invaded Iraq because Israel wanted to
That, and the Russians will actually have some success in Ukraine
Elijah Gonzalez
The soft way is bombing apartment buildings ? Those dumb alcoholic fucks just ensured their people will starve for the next 20 years because the government was too pussified to tell an old man to sit down and shut the fuck up before he ruined Russia. Sure you faggots will take Ukraine but only after suffering huge losses and turning yourself into North Korea II.
Kayden Diaz
>Russia built up its forces for month bro they spent a year preparing for this and it's invasion on their western front
they're invading their neighbor for god's sake
we had to fight a war >>>>ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD and we did it better
do you have any idea how of a handicap it is to fight ten gorillian miles away like that
Yes. They did it a lot. CNN advocated FOR the war, you think they're going to cover the actual civvie death toll? They spent years ignoring that we continued to blow up and kill civilians for decades, even under Trump because that would bring to light how much King Nigger did it.
Nathaniel Jenkins
The actual part where shit got fucked up was some half wit fired the entire army and everyone in the government who was apart of Saddam's party, turns out that was everyone.
Jacob Hill
People were wondering how russia could field such an enormous army - land, sea, air, nukes - on a relatively shoestring budget Turns out they can’t
Daniel Diaz
HUNTER BIDEN OWNS LIKE HALF OF UKRAINE DO THE MATH BRAINSTEIN
>he thinks CNN was right about the Iraq War >he thinks the US military indiscriminately bombed any civilian building in sight >he knows nothing about the iraq invasion
The force build up for Iraq had been going on since the 1990s. Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia were all on side. Numerous countries went and billions were spent on companies like Kroll, Sandline, KBR etc purely for their logistic effort. The invasion of Iraq was mounted from positions that were uncontested and unopposed. There wasn’t a 0+ hour moment, just a lot of moves into Iraq
It was also a total waste of time and money and no military success came of it whatsoever
