My question is: Why aren't more churches using Deteronomy 23:1 as a catch all anti-trannie verse the way we've used Leviticus 18:22 as a catch-all anti-gay verse?

Homosexuality occurs naturally, so the real crime, outside of the damage you're doing to yourself, is promoting or accepting it. That's the split between ceremonial and moral law.

you're right, but we are also bound by Natural Law. When the New Testament discusses sexuality, it appeals to Adam and Eve, not to Moses. However, you are not permitted to kill someone for their sins, that is the sole realm and responsibility of civil government. Just because our civil government is wrong doesn't give us authority to do their job.
